What we have here isa Large Vintage Carved Wood Native Northwest Coast Totem Pole by CHRIS WAITE in 1976 from Bella Bella British Columbia Canada , with images of Eagle with Face on Chest and Whale... large size at 28 3/4ins tall by 18ins across. Th is is a nice large piece with good character, boldly carved, displays well. The carved images are painted and shellacked or varnished. Signed on back. Wings will be unscrewed for safer and more economical shipping.
